Welcome to DAN’s Lab.
Inside we will be experimenting on finding the secret formula to Backlinks.

This will be a series of test to find a method or Service that generates good backlinks. With the ultimate goal to hit that number one spot for a keyword.
FIRST OFF, If I love research with a passion THEN i hate Back linking with a vengence.
Its like mathmatics and Biology. One has a fixed outcome based on statistics. the other has so many variables that you just observe and try and find a consistent result. (no offence to any Biologists here

I will document inside the best ways and worse to try and rank a keyword. Trying my best to provide some kind of repeatable formula.

Great Site to Learn Web Design
To date most of my web work has been trial and error. I must admit very frustrating as well.
I try various things until it works or find long alternative methods.
Today Stuart over at Heatmap Themes, recommended using this site to learn HTML Code.
I Have been getting by so far but as I start to do more and more work with more elaborate plans I want a better understanding.
The site is http://www.w3schools.com/ and they have a comprehensive step by step courses for all aspects of web design.
I like the simple layout of the training and the fact they have broken it into small chunks so you can Do a little often.
If there are elements of web design you want to improve on I would recommend them as a great training source.

I’ve looked at about 20+ themes, trying to find the right one for golden nugget keywords and my other niche sites.
The biggest factor I keep coming back to was flexibility of design, frequently what you buy is what you get. Which can be fine, but as your site develops and you look to add new sections. It suddenly becomes very restrictive or you have to hire someone to design the site for you or start learning code.
